Do you love me or you just need me?

“Do you love me because you need me?

Or do you need me because you love me?”

Think again. Needing is different from loving. Make sure of your feelings first. Most of all, don’t take advantage of someone else’s feelings just because of your petty needs. You might hurt her in the process. Beware! Do you love her? Do you need her? The answer lies on your hand. Think. Feel. Decide. πŸ™‚

  1. “Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails.”

    (1 Corinthians 13:4–8a)

I’m not religious, but I love this verses of the bible.

  2. Jean, you are so on point. And you know, while it is so sweet when someone needs you because they love you, we can also love someone and yet not need them. Now thatz the kind of loving that gets most people uncomfortable, & yet itz the sweetest of them all.

  3. Hello! We love each other, we are alike in many ways, we both look in the same direction. Though we try to be self sufficient we are told that together we make a complete one. We compliment each other and like each other but there are brief moments when we can unlike and then moments when we feel that we cannot do without each other. I feel that you cannot separate needing and liking for they are the two sides of the same coin. For us It is not debated we are agreed and complete for we are One. Love David

    • You’re welcome! πŸ™‚ It could be.. loving someone for a reason..The question is: Why do you love that person? The bottomline is: Ohh, do we need reasons in loving somebody? πŸ˜€
